How to cook it

  1. Cut the cauliflower into small florets and the carrot into thin rounds.

  2. Heat the oil in a wok over high heat and fry the garlic until fragrant, about 20 seconds.

  3. Add the shrimp and stir-fry until just pink, about 2 minutes, then push aside.

  4. Add the carrot and cauliflower and stir-fry 2 minutes.

  5. Whisk the chicken broth, oyster sauce, soy sauce, cornstarch, and salt together and pour into the wok.

  6. Add the cabbage and snap peas and simmer, stirring, until the sauce thickens slightly and the vegetables are crisp-tender, about 4 minutes.

  7. Toss everything together so the shrimp is coated in the sauce.

  8. Serve hot alongside rice.
