  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp, then drain and crumble it.

  2. Pour off most of the fat, add the diced bell pepper, and soften for 3 minutes.

  3. Beat the eggs with the salt, pour into the pan, and scramble softly until just set, about 2 minutes.
