How to cook it

Toss the sliced chicken with 1 tbsp cornstarch.

Whisk the soy sauce, remaining cornstarch, sesame oil, and 1/3 cup water for the sauce.

Heat 1 tbsp neutral oil in a wok over high heat and stir-fry the chicken until browned and cooked, about 5 minutes, then remove.

Add the remaining oil and stir-fry the broccoli, bell pepper, carrots, garlic, and ginger until crisp-tender, about 5 minutes.

Return the chicken, pour in the sauce, and toss until thickened and glossy, about 2 minutes.

Serve over rice.
