  1. Pat the fish fillets dry and cut into large serving pieces.

  2. Blend or mince the garlic and mix it with the turmeric, lime juice, and salt into a paste.

  3. Rub the paste all over the fish and let it marinate at least 15 minutes.

  6. Flip carefully and fry the other side until golden and the fish flakes easily, about 3 minutes more.
