How to cook it

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium-high and brown the ground beef, breaking it apart.

Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper and cook until softened, about 6 minutes, then drain off excess fat.

Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, broth, Worcestershire, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper and bring to a simmer.

Add the dry macaroni, cover, and cook over low heat, stirring now and then, until the pasta is tender, about 15 minutes.

Turn off the heat, stir in the cheddar until melted, and let stand 5 minutes before serving.
