  1. Heat the oven to 425F and line a sheet pan with foil.

  2. Toss the broccoli florets with half the olive oil, the minced garlic, salt and pepper, and spread them on the pan.

  3. Roast 8 minutes to give the broccoli a head start.

  4. Push the broccoli to one side, add the salmon fillets, brush with the remaining olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

  5. Roast until the salmon flakes easily and the broccoli is tender-crisp, about 10 minutes.

  6. Squeeze the lemon over the pan before serving.
