Heat the oil and fry the chopped onion until golden, about 6 minutes, then add the ginger garlic paste for 1 minute.

Add the mince, break it up thoroughly and brown it for 8 minutes until dry.

Uncover and cook off any liquid still standing so the keema is moist rather than wet.
