How to cook it

  1. Heat the oil in a large pan and cook the diced onion and carrot until soft, about 5 minutes.

  2. Add the beef mince and cook, breaking it up, until browned, about 8 minutes.

  3. Stir in the flour and tomato paste and cook for a minute, then pour in the beef stock and Worcestershire sauce.

  4. Simmer until thickened, about 15 minutes, stirring in the peas for the last 3 minutes.

  5. Season with salt and pepper and serve hot.
