How to cook it

  1. Boil the egg noodles according to the packet directions, then drain and set aside.

  2. Thinly slice the chicken breast.

  3. Heat half the oil in a wok over high heat and stir-fry the chicken until cooked through, about 5 minutes, then set aside.

  4. Add the remaining oil and stir-fry the shredded cabbage, carrot, and garlic until crisp-tender, about 3 minutes.

  5. Return the chicken and noodles to the wok with the soy sauce and oyster sauce, and toss until heated through, about 2 minutes.

  6. Stir in the bean sprouts and green onion and serve hot.
